Why You Need An Army Of Prayer Warriors

Nothing provides as much comfort as knowing that you have a prayer warrior on your side. When you are going through difficult times, having a tribe that's fighting spiritual warfare with you and for you can make all the difference.

Several ladies from our church began a group text a few months ago, using it as a platform to share prayer requests, give encouragement and let each other know that there's someone in their corner every single day. As soon as my phone's special ring tone goes off, I know it's time to get down to business!

Because I'm ready to be a prayer warrior in this army.

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:19-20

Jesus Christ told his followers that there was power given to them when they prayed as an army. If just two people agreed with God about something, He told them that God would hear them and answer them. So just imagine what two or three believers could do in the spiritual realm if they stood together! Jesus said He would be in their midst, and there's no more powerful prayer partner than the Lord.

Are you ready to form an army of prayer warriors? I have a feeling other women around you are on that same page with you, and they're just waiting to have someone reach out.

Start with the prayer list at your church. If you're praying for a certain family or situation, let them know that. Ask for updates, for specifics, so you can reach out during the week to pray together.

If you have women in your life who are already praying for you, invite them to a group text or private message where you can share what's happening in your daily life. It's such a blessing to know there's a sister in Christ ready to hit her knees for you at any given moment.

My prayer for this week is that we'll band together into an entire army of prayer warriors. Pray for me and I'll pray for you, and we'll be blessed with the presence of Christ in our midst. How does that help you look at the days ahead?
