A Weekend Of Collecting Supplies

I have a tendency to collect paper craft supplies.

I'm willing to admit it.

I love paper, stickers make me happy and there are drawers full of wooden and cling stamps in my craft room. When I see a bargain or fall head-over-heels for something adorable, it comes home with me.

I'm willing to admit it.

But there's something I like to collect even more than craft supplies.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

We all have needs - some more important and timely than others. Whether they're at critical mass today or not, Paul writes and reminds us that those needs will be met because God has an endless supply of supplies for us. And He's willing to supply those supplies according to His riches, which, through Jesus Christ, is of monumental proportions.

There is no need in your heart or on your mind that God wouldn't love to give you the supplies to endure and flourish in. His riches in glory will far exceed even your most fervent prayers, and they'll always be exactly what you need at the exact moment that you need them.

Make this a weekend of collecting supplies - God's supplies. You won't have to find shelf space or an extra drawer for them, simply because you'll be using them up and applying them to your life the moment He provides them. I love and desire those supplies with all my heart.

I'm willing to admit that, too.
