Sunday Sketch

You'll have lots of fun with patterns when you play with today's sketch. You can use anywhere between four and six different ones - it's all up to you!

The first pattern is matted on top of the solid background color.

The second is the one the sentiment is stamped on.

The rest are the circles and the panel on the right hand side of the card.

Get out your coordinating patterns and you won't have to even think - just cut circles to your heart's content.
For my card, I started with a yellow card stock and coordinating yellow pattern for the background.

Then I stamped my phrase on a slightly darker yellow pattern and matted it on the same yellow card stock as the background.

The circles, cut from three coordinating patterned papers, are layered on top of an orange card stock. You could use another pattern here instead of a solid card stock if you'd like. Subtle patterns in the back and bolder ones on top will keep the card from being too overwhelming.

This card, along with many other paper crafts and wood gifts, can be found in our Etsy shop. You'll find more great ideas and some fun gifts for yourself and others, so come visit today.
