Sunday Sketch

Today's sketch is all wrapped up like a big, beautiful present just for you!

With either ribbon or paper borders, you'll be replacing the bow with a sentiment for your focal point.

And a corner accent will balance out the card, leaving lots of room to see the pretty patterned papers you've chosen.
For my card, I chose purple and patterned papers from a coordinating set, meaning I had to do less thinking, which I love! I used two purples for the background and then matted a large flowered pattern for the top.

Two thin borders of a coordinating decorator paper from that same set are crossed near the top to create the "ribbon" on a package. Over their crossing is a hand-stamped phrase.

I cut out a flower from an additional sheet of patterned paper for the corner embellishment and added purple gems as the center of each flower.
