A Weekend Of Hidden Things

All over our yard you'll find raised portions of ground - long, thin and winding.

Yes, we have a mole.

You can tell exactly where he's been and where he's going. The broken ground and rocks moved are a dead giveaway.

He's just beneath the surface of the ground, but you'll never see him. He isn't going to pop out, wave and go back under. That's just not the way a mole works. He stays hidden all day long.

But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 1 Peter 3:4

Let this be a weekend of developing those hidden things, that woman inside that desires to be more like Jesus Christ every day. That means developing a meek and quiet spirit, something that's cultivated on the inside and manifests itself outwardly, much like the mole trail. You'll only see what's happening on the outside, on the top of the ground, and not the work going on inside, under the ground.

This inward growing and developing will have no choice but to show in everything you do and say. What a blessing to be able to share this meek and quiet you with the world.
