Sunday Sketch

While this sketch may look like a bunch of grapes, it's actually a great opportunity to use your circle cutter. You can also use other templates or even the rim of different sized bowls or glasses if you don't have a circle cutter.

The focal point will be the three circles in the bottom right hand corner, though the main, large panel will be a fabulous pattern.

Choose one background color and patterned paper for your base. Then make the main panel with a coordinating color and pattern. Two corners of this panel are rounded for some extra interesting designs.

The three circles can be varying sizes, colors and patters, including your phrase and an image.
For my card, I chose a denim-looking blue for my background, then matted a coordinating blue patterned paper on top.

The main panel is a glittered decorator paper matted on its matching green card stock. The upper right and lower left corners of each are rounded.

For my three circles, I used a coordinating green pattern, the stamped phrase on a blue patterned paper and a punched out glittered bird matted on the next size larger punch.

This card, along with many other paper crafts and wood gifts, can be found in our Etsy shop. Stuff From Trees is a great place to find gifts to share your faith or something special for yourself.
