Refreshing My Soul With A New Bible Journaling Kit

As much as I hate to admit it, I’ve been spiritually dry lately. I’ve not taken as much time in prayer and Bible study, spending more time doing the things that drain me physically, mentally and spiritually. That’s when Illustrated Faith’s March Bible journaling kit showed up in my Instagram feed. This month’s theme is Captured - finding thoughts that hold you captive, being captivated by God, capturing our time back and capturing the negative behaviors that keep us from being everything God wants.

I am in no way associated with IF, but I had to share this kit with you. Nothing makes me happier than coordinating craft kits, and because I’m using this one for my Bible, journaling and a few cards for friends, it’s absolutely what I need right now. It includes a devotional, notepad, sticker, highlighters, die cuts, washi tape and stamps in this adorable Captivated theme.

For the cover of my devotional, I used the washi tape on two sides for borders and layered on die cuts, words and acrylic dots. The spring colors are the breath of fresh air I’ve needed, clearing my head and lifting my spirits.

And these adorable die cut pens! I put one on 3D adhesive to raise up my praise! Get it? Ha! God’s getting my attention on several levels with this devotional, and for that I’m grateful. And I’ll be using these supplies in the days to come to share that truth with others. What refreshment for a parched soul!
