Breakfast Waffle Sandwiches

Never scramble (pun intended) to get breakfast together again with these make-ahead waffle sandwiches. You can change out what's stuffed inside to make each morning special for everyone in the family.

All you need are your favorite refrigerator biscuits - I used the smallest ones - and breakfast foods like ham, bacon, eggs and cheese. Stretch one biscuit out as far as it will go without tearing. Then pile on your cheese, meat and egg. Place another biscuit on top and crimp the edges.

Place one filled biscuit in each of the wells of your waffle maker. They will spread out and fill it perfectly. You also don't have to worry about overcooking them because the waffle maker will tell you the exact moment when they're done. It's too easy, I tell you. Too easy. When they're ready, you'll have all those lovely breakfast goodies tucked inside the biscuits.

And to make it even better, they freeze wonderfully. Wrap them individually and heat them up in the microwave for 45-60 seconds. Put them back in the plastic wrap and you're ready to head out the door.
