My October And Fill Your Day With Joy Planner Layouts

After a long week of rain every day and a community event that required going in and outside multiple times, I'm ready for a couple of planner layout that are bright and beautiful! I've been saving up these autumn animals for just such an occasion, and they've found a perfect home here the upcoming month.

The monthly spreads in my planner are where I keep track of my blog posts and ideas. I usually choose a few larger images as anchors across the two pages, then fill in with a "random stamp" effect with the smaller stickers. This gives me lots of room to write, plus some pretty adorable critters to look at all along the way.

This time around, I only combined two sets for the spread - the four larger leaves in the corners are from one set and the animals, acorns, and small leaves are from another. Half the fun of putting a planner layout together is finding the bits and pieces you need to make them interesting, cohesive, and fun to use.

This past weekend was our Pages for Pennies used book sale, and it was a phenomenal event. (More on that to come.) This is going to end up being a two-day work week as we tear down the sale on Monday, and I take some comp time at the end of the week. So my weekly planner spread is going to do double-duty, helping me plan those work days and then remind myself that I don't have to have plans on my days off!

I adore this purple sticker set, and the phrases they have are perfect for a work/not work week. My pages aren't big enough to use too many of the large phrases, so I scattered them around and mixed in some smaller phrases and borders. Then I used a whole page of stars and constellations to accent all the words and phrases. They're metallic and glittered, so the entire layout sparkles!

My prayer for this week is that we'll sparkle just as brightly as our planner pages! We have so much to be thankful for, whether we're planning for work or rest or some combination thereof, and that is the best weekly motivation there is. Let that be reflected on your planner spread this week and this month, filling every day with the things you love, not just the stuff you have-to.
