Fall Gift Baskets That Include All The Good Stuff

In case you missed it, like I almost did - it's officially Fall! To celebrate, I put together a fun, overflowing gift tray full of autumn-themed goodies. Many of them have already been eaten, used, hung up, and otherwise enjoyed, while others are waiting their turn...

My gift tray included yogurt covered pretzels, a fall dish towel complete with a dachshund, coffee, chocolate, stickers, some tea napkins, a beautiful gift bag full of goodies, and even some pasta in the shape of leaves and pumpkins. It's a little bit of a lot of different things, all gathered to treat and surprise.

Trying to decide what you could put in a fall-themed gift basket of your own? Here are some categories and ideas to get you started. What would you add to the list?

Something to eat: snacks, cookies, candy, popcorn, nuts

Something to drink: coffee, tea, cider, hot chocolate

Something to display: signs, candle holder, vase, figurine, fall décor

Something to use: kitchen gadget, mug, blanket, serving piece

Something cozy: fuzzy socks, throw blanket, slippers, scarf

Something scented: candle, wax melts, room spray, simmer-pot spices

Something homemade: baked goods, jam, handmade craft, knitted item

Something local: food made in your city or state, local shop items, artisan crafts

Something pumpkin-themed: pumpkin spice, pumpkin décor, pumpkin-shaped items

Something for the kitchen: towel, spatula, cookbook, serving board

Something for the table: napkins, placemats, centerpiece, appetizer dish

Something to read: cookbook, fall novel, magazine, devotional

Something to do: puzzle, game, craft, coloring book

Something nostalgic: vintage-inspired candy, old-fashioned game, retro décor

Something to pamper: hand cream, bath soak, lip balm, face mask

Something outdoorsy: garden item, camp mug, bird feeder, cozy outdoor accessory

Something seasonal: specifically tied to autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving, or harvest

Something personalized: monogrammed, engraved, customized, or recipient-specific

Something practical: an item they'll genuinely use rather than just admire

Something just for fun: quirky, unexpected, cute, or “I had to put this in here” item

Something to put it all in: a basket, a bucket, a tray, a bag, a box, anything put-in-able!
