My Every Moment Matters Planner Layout



Praise the Lord for creating this wonderful thing called vacation! As much as I adore my job, I needed this past week to do some things at home, go flying with Danny, and go to the Renew Conference with some our church ladies. While I'm not completely rested - I definitely didn't sleep the week away - I'm ready to hit the ground running at the office tomorrow. And this week's planner spread is definitely going to be the motivation I need.


Looking at it now, it looks like I combined two sticker sets to make this layout - the flowers and the office supplies. Honestly, I had to go back and double check, but yes, they are from the same set. (Actually some of the same pages.) I adore that backpack because it looks like mine, as does that camera and laptop. It's like they made it just for me! So I paired all the nitty-gritty work stuff with beautiful flowers and hearts in every cluster so it doesn't seem quite so much like work...


My prayer for this week is that after some time off, this week will be filled with opportunities to share God's love and compassion with the people He puts in my path. We have several meetings, some time to catch up, and Saturday is Fly Iowa, so there are definitely going to be a lot of people! Praise God for those opportunities, and I can't wait to see what He has in store for me. And for you!

I remember going to the grocery store every Saturday morning when I was growing up, and my favorite place in the entire store was the donut case. All the glazed, powdered and filled baked goods drew me like a magnet. My favorites, far and away, were the ones filled with that beautiful white, fluffy creme. The Lord, My Shield And My Buckler

Sometimes verses of Scripture grab ahold of your heart and don't let go. That happened to me several months in a row as I was reading the books of Psalms and Proverbs.  If you don't already, add reading the Proverb that corresponds to the day of the month - 31 Proverbs, 31 days - to your Bible reading schedule. Similarly, if you read five Psalms every day, you'll read the entire book each month. On the first of the month, Psalm 5:11-12 stood out like they were under a spotlight. Repeatedly. Every month like clockwork. Scriptures About Freedom Perfect For Independence Day

In Sunday School yesterday, we took a break from our chronological study of the Bible to do a fun Fourth of July lesson. We made the youth a packet full of patriotic pictures with Scripture on them. Then we talked about each one in context with the verses around it, not just pulling out verse that sound nice or fit well. After studying several of them, we found a few favorites. They're perfect for creating some digital art of your own, or for using on and in a greeting card.
