A Weekend of Overflowing

After several days of rain, both of our ponds were at their flood point. It's been amazing to watch them rise and then flow out through the drainage pipes.

Last year, we were in such a drought that the waters receded dramatically. It was a real worry for farmers, especially, but anyone with water on their property like our ponds was concerned.

The drought is now officially broken, thanks to the rains that walloped the area. The river is completely out of its banks and more is expected to come down from lakes and streams north of us.

And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. Ezekiel 34:26

Make this a weekend of overflowing. God has showered us with blessings, so we should all be filled to overflowing with His goodness.

Let your joy gush over the banks so that it can be shared with others. No matter what's happening in the world around us, our hearts and lives are blessed in every season.
