Dark Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge
I have loved fudge from my first sample. The sight, smell, taste, and texture combine for the perfect little bite of yumminess.
And don't get me started on mix-ins! I enjoy crunchy nuts, smooth caramel, and everything in between.
As a special treat to myself, I decided to make one fudge recipe every month and share it with you. For January I chose a very wintery mix of dark chocolate (70% cacao) and marshmallows, which look like little snowballs. And taste much better.
Enjoy!
Ingredients:
12 ounces dark chocolate bars, chopped finely
1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
3 cups miniature marshmallows
1. Line an 8x8-inch dish with foil and lightly spray with nonstick spray.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped chocolate and sweetened condensed milk.
3. Heat the mixture in the microwave until melted, stirring every 30 seconds to combine. This should only take about 2 minutes total.
4. Gently stir in the marshmallows.
5. Scrape the mixture into the lined dish, smooth out the top, and refrigerate until cooled and solid, 1-2 hours.
