DIY Memory Verse Tag Book

With my time off this week, I've been able to catch up on house projects, puppy cuddles and a ton of errands. I've also been cleaning, organizing my craft areas and preparing for an upcoming community market and a yard sale. At our Stuff From Trees booth in August, I'll have these adorable memory verse tags books available for purchase. If you live too far away to come buy one (or seven), here's how tto make them yourself.

Start by making a tag template with a sturdy piece of card stock. I have a tag stamp, but you can just cut out a rectangle of paper and trim two corners off.

This template is what I use to make tags out of all the smaller scraps in my collection. And yes, there are a ton of them! You'll probably find the same amount in your own paper stash, I'm guessing.

Next, just punch a small hole in the top of each one and hang a bunch of them in a book ring. I usually get 8-10 rings for a dollar at the dollar store. (Which is now actually the $1.25 store.)

Gather together a variety of colors and patterns to make a fun and inspirational memory verse book. The back of each tag will be plain and white so you can write your memory verses on it.

On one of the books, I decorated each front with a faith sticker.

On the others, I only decorated the cover, matting a word or phrase on two colors of card stock.

And the finished product! Each of the tag books pictured here will be for sale at our show booth - I'll give you more details of time and day when I know them. In the meantime, have fun looking through your own paper collection for some fun patterns!
