A New Scrapbooking Project

A few weeks ago, I bought a package of scrapbook paper that included about 20 different themes for each month of the year. I had to put it away for a while to tackle other projects, but I just pulled it out again and had a flash of inspiration.

I'm putting together an 8x8 inch album that can have any number of purposes. Each two-page spread has the same colored card stock background with patterned paper matted on top.

Now they can be used for anything from photos to a journal to sign-in books for your dinner guests. I'm having so much fun combining colors and pages - it's been a while since I did much scrapbooking.

I'm about 2/3 of the way done, and I'm already looking forward to my next project. The plan is to make a set of note cards, one for each month of the year. I think it will be a great gift for someone who wants to start writing more letters.

Now back to the craft room!
