Scripture For Every Need
I wish I knew what you were going through today. If I knew what difficulties you're facing, I'd know how to pray better for you this week. If we could talk for just a bit, I could learn more, understand more, and pray with you for just what you need.
Instead, I'll tell you some of the same things I'd tell you if we were together. These are the Scriptures I would share with you when you shared your struggles with me. I may not be able to make any of them better, but I can lead you to the God who can!
If you're battling an enemy this week, read Psalm 37:40.
If you struggle with loneliness, read Genesis 28:15.
If you need physical or spiritual protection, read Proverbs 18:10.
If you just want to be a blessing to the women around you, read Titus 2:4-5.
If pride has reared its ugly head, read Proverbs 28:25-26.
If laziness has crept in, read 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12.
If you're having trouble forgiving, read Matthew 5:44-45.
If all you need is peace, read John 14:27.
If gossip is an issue, read Proverbs 26:20-22.
If you're seeking comfort in an uncomfortable situation, read Psalm 46:1-3.
If you're fighting shame, read 2 Timothy 1:12.
If all hope seems lost, read Psalm 42:11.
If you just want to run and hide, read Psalm 32:7.
If you've lost your motivation, read 1 Corinthians 10:31.
If prayer has become a burden, read 1 John 5:14-15.
If you just want a deeper love for God's word, read Hebrews 4:12.
My prayer is that you will find Scripture that fills all your needs this week and that you will cling to it with all your strength. Please know that I am on my knees with you and asking God to lift you up in everything you're facing.
