My Trust In The Lord Planner Layout


As autumn temperatures begin to set in, I needed one more beautiful summer planner spread. I found these beautiful wildflowers and butterflies stickers, and I paired them with Bible verses perfect for the season. In a world and time when things seem a little dark and dreary, let's lighten up this one little corner of our world this week!


 Alternating down each page, I used the largest images - one per day - as focal points. With those in place, I added the Scriptures and prayers in between to balance each page and give me a daily reminder of how much I need the Lord's love, grace, and mercy in the week to come. The tiny, color butterflies tie each set of words and images together.


My prayer for this week is that God will set right the pain and difficulties that came out of nowhere last week, protect His people from the evil that's permeating our communities, and point us on toward the indescribable eternity with Him that is coming. I'm blessed beyond measure to have planner pages to look at every single day with these beautiful words of comfort and hope straight from God's word. I pray you'll do the same today.

I remember going to the grocery store every Saturday morning when I was growing up, and my favorite place in the entire store was the donut case. The Lord, My Shield And My Buckler

Sometimes verses of Scripture grab ahold of your heart and don't let go. That happened to me several months in a row as I was reading the books of Psalms and Proverbs.  If you don't already, add reading the Proverb that corresponds to the day of the month - 31 Proverbs, 31 days - to your Bible reading schedule. Similarly, if you read five Psalms every day, you'll read the entire book each month. On the first of the month, Psalm 5:11-12 stood out like they were under a spotlight. Repeatedly. Every month like clockwork. Scriptures About Freedom Perfect For Independence Day

In Sunday School yesterday, we took a break from our chronological study of the Bible to do a fun Fourth of July lesson. We made the youth a packet full of patriotic pictures with Scripture on them. Then we talked about each one in context with the verses around it, not just pulling out verse that sound nice or fit well. After studying several of them, we found a few favorites. They're perfect for creating some digital art of your own, or for using on and in a greeting card.
