My March and Lion Or Lamb Planner Layouts

Some of my favorite people ever were born in March, so I'm excited to start this brand-new month. Not to mention that two difficult months are now officially over. We'll celebrate the first day of spring, those special birthdays, and the start of several new projects around the house, and those sounds like great reasons to celebrate.

I use the month-at-a-glance planner spread to keep track of my blog posts, so it's always fun to do a random splash of images and words all over these two pages. For March I used almost an entire sheet of St. Patrick's Day-themed stickers, full of shamrocks, pots of gold, and beautiful rainbows. Having a stash of seasonal stamps and stickers makes moments like this so easy.

With all kinds of different sizes, shapes, and shades of green, I love the way these two pages turned out. Do you have some phrases and images saved up that would give them same look in your planner? Can you mix and match sets to create something completely new and different?

The old saying is that if March comes in like a lion (rough and tumble weather), it will go out like a lamb (super calm and clear). And vice versa. I don't know if that's really true, but it's fun to think about! This week is going to be in the 40s and 50s, so we'll see where it goes from there ... lion or lamb?

I had the hardest time finding lions and lambs to make this layout vision come true. They were either baby versions or creepily realistic, but not really. After looking through the store for 10 minutes, I finally settled on these two sets - somewhere in the middle of style choices. I clustered one set into each day, with lots of grass, trees, and flowers to usher in spring at the same time. The borders are stickers form a third set, but they matched perfectly.

My prayer for this month is that God will shower each of us with blessings even more precious the start of a new season. I've seen so many answers to prayer in the past few weeks that I can't wait to see what God's going to do with my current prayer list. The possibilities are endless with a God like ours!
