New Year's Scriptures And Where To Use Them
As we prepare for the new year this week, there's no better place to go than Scripture. Thinking about new things from God's point of view helps us look forward to the future and the blessings He has in store for us. Here are just a few Scripture to meditate on as the year winds down.
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
And what can you do with these Scriptures? Right-click on any of the Scripture pictures here and on this blog under the Scripture label, and you can save them for your own use. Use them as backgrounds on your phone, as your computer wallpaper, or print them and make them part of your daily devotions.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24
Frame the Scripture that inspires you most right now and either put it somewhere you can see it all the time or give it as a gift to inspire others. Printed or hand-copied versions can go in greeting cards, in your planner, or tucked into the pages of your Bible.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33
What Scriptures will you add to your New Year 2026 list? How will you use them to encourage yourself and others?
