Put It On A Sticker So You'll Never Forget
I've been collecting stickers since I was tiny. I remember my mom putting stickers on each piano book page as I passed them and picking them up at the store as rewards for doing my chores.
It hasn't changed at all since I've grown up. It's the first thing I collect at visitor centers, places we visit, almost every Amazon order, and for my planner pages. Now I use baseball card pages in a large 3-ring binder to be able to see all of them easily.
So new pages in my journal mean a new collection of stickers to embellish them! It was fun to pick out a few favorites: here's what they are and why I chose them this time.
I'm only talking to Jesus today. (I've said this to myself many, many times lately. It's possibly safer that way.)
I am the daughter of a King who is not moved by the world, for my God is with me and goes before me, I do not fear because I am His. (So adjust your crown and get back out there.)
Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do. Proverbs 4:7 (One of my favorite proverbs because it's practical and profound.)
He calls me beautiful one. Song of Solomon 2:10 (For the days I'm not feeling so pretty.)
Created with a purpose. (For the days I'm not feeling so productive or effective.)
God says you are unique, special, lovely, precious, strong, chosen, forgiven. (And if God says it, it must be true!)
She is strong. Proverbs 31:25 (I have this on a t-shirt so I'll remember the Proverbs 31 Woman, and not it will be in my journal, too.)
Girl, read your Bible. (Don't put it off, don't skim it, don't do it just to check it off your list.)
Not today Satan. (This is also the coffee mug I use when I'm feeling especially angry at the evil in the world.)
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders. (Keep my eyes on You and not on the storm.)
What words or phrases do you need to have on a sticker for a reminder as we get closer to the weekend?
