My January and When I Rise Planner Layouts
I'm not a huge "schmoopy-schmoopy" love person, but my planner spreads for February have bent a little in that direction. I found several Valentines sets of stickers and die cuts in my collection, so they're getting used to their fullest over the next few weeks!
My monthly planner pages are where I keep track of my blog posts, so the random-stamp style of design for these spreads is always my go-to. Most themed sticker collections have small designs and images mixed in, so I use these up here. It's like throwing them up in the air and sticking them down wherever they land. Within reason, that is...
It's nice to have one place - like your planner - to keep track of major things. Whether it's blog post ideas, notes for work, shopping lists, or just some brainstorming for the future, having your thoughts and plans in one place means you never have to try to remember where they are. Added bonus, for sure!
Kelly Bangs' Print and Pray set for Illustrated Faith called When I Rise is the last set I'm using in this fun series. I went through my Print and Pray sets and found several that I haven't used for a while, and this is one of my favorites.
I often say, That's why God invented _________. Fill in the blank with something amazing. So seeing "Jesus, thank you for creating coffee" was right up my alley. The set is printed on card stock so I could make it the size I needed it, then fussy cut like a die cut. I adore the color combination here, and you know I love the caffeine-addicted theme to get started in the morning.
My prayer for this week is that as my planner pages fill up, each conversation, meeting, and item that gets added will be an opportunity for me to glorify God and show His love. That should be the whole point of everything we do, not just having cute pages to write them on, but reflecting the Lord is everything that shows up there. All glory be to Christ!
